Troy's offense has been superb all season. The Trojans are second in in the Sun Belt conference in scoring (34.4 points per game), first in total offense (486.9 yards per game) and passing (327.7 yards per game). Their defense has been subpar. Troy is seventh among eight league team in scoring (33.7 points per game) and total defense (464 yards per game) and last against the pass (323.4 yards per game). But coach Larry Blakeney said he was able to pinpoint one of the unit's biggest struggles during the bye week after the Trojans defeated Georgia State 35-28 on the road in their second-straight victory to improve to 4-3 (2-1).
