We sit at 1-6 with five games remaining. The only one I see we can win possibly is Southern Miss. We lose to ULL, GATA and Coastal. Ark St is a toss up. IMO we finish 1-11 or 2-10. Thoughts?

3-9 with wins over Southern Miss and stAte. I think we've got at least a shot at this.

I don't have much hope for any game the rest of this season. Won't stop me from watching/attending and cheering my heart out, though. Any given Saturday (or Tuesday or Thursday).

Tailgating and booing Jack at the games is about all that’s left to go for. I won’t stop supporting this program but even I think the first people to bail out on it were Jack and Janice.

We will win out and finish 6 - 6 along with making a bowl game. 1st, I hope what you say happens. 2nd, concerned about your wellness. That much blind optimism and belief from what has been actually seen and occurred can be dangerous.

I mean I had hope of a 6-6 finish still being on the table but this was one of the must win games. I mean at this point if a 2-10 season (or 1-11) is necessary for us to have 3-4 year run of winning 10-12 games per year again then so be it.
Will be in North Carolina the Saturday of the A-State game and I will turn on and watch like I do every week.

Neal Brown went 3-9 before having 3 straight 10+ win seasons. So yes, I think its possible.

However, in your opinion, what positive experience does he have now that he didn't have when he took over at Purdue?

And I'm not trying to be glib or play "gotcha!" I just want serious debate about this guy so we don't let him "Troy Kinda Guys" his way around this program for three years with no accountability.

Brown had a plan and would tell you about it in detail and then executed almost damn week to week.

That is my ultimate fear. Good confirmation will be toward the end of this year, with whether or not the team quietly quits or if they still play hard. Homecoming will be lightly attended and the USM will be flat out abandoned, unless Troy is riding a four game winning streak into it.

I’m guessing 2-10. We beat southern miss. My wife graduated from southern miss. If we lose to them, I get to hear about it for a full year. We have to win that game.
