Looks like Hurricane Helene will be quite a bit outside out of the Troy area by 8am Friday... it'll be up around Atlanta at that point. Totally gone by Saturday.
I'm wondering what the chances are of Troy cancelling the game?

I know there is zero chance I can make the game. We are almost in the bulls eye and I probably will have no power for a week and praying my house doesn't get damaged

YOU are definitely in the DOUBLE bullseye - area rainfall & winds‼️ I know you live in an area with lots of surface water (lakes), hope you are not close enough for your home to be impacted by that additional threat 🙏🏼

We in Marianna appear to be west of the worst but praying hard for all impacted. Absolutely convinced our HEADCOACH has everything under control. It is always under His control even when things happen. No, I am not talking Parker.

I knew your location as well and the latest forecast moved it a little more to the east, better for you👍🏼 Great minds think alike, I had just posted on Twitter / X, “Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to Him for protection.” Proverbs 30:5

Wife took a new teaching position to. Be are fairly close to the Suwanee River but we won't flood. Wind and rain will be bad

Crestview here, home of the legend Jeremy Rowell. The kids are home from school and Mrs. TBB and I are teleworking. Hoping everyone comes clear from this storm and hope everyone has safe travels to see our Trojans be victorious this Saturday.
Miss TBB is taking a walking tour of the campus this Saturday and she is really excited about it.

cornhole just spoke with folks over at the Field House. Despite rain-related issues with the tents on Tailgate Terrace, things are presently GO for Saturday.
They are scrambling to find solutions for rain-damaged/ripped tents so things may appear different.
Here's prayers and best wishes to the folks facing Helene in the Fla panhandle and areas North.

I don't foresee any cancelation unless the playing field is damaged in the storm.

Yeah it appears tent city may be the biggest hurdle we have in Troy

Wet in Dothan and it’s beginning to be a little breezy, but we’re going to be OK.if you’re east of Dothan, hunker down for the night.

The school district called and said we are lucky to have been spared. It's 6pm central on Thursday and storm has not even begun to make landfall. Stay safe tonight Trojans.

It appears we have had the luck of being westward enough to come through the hurricane without incident. I hope everyone else has also come out safe and sound.
Cry Havoc!

I mowed two yards this AM with a 21" mower and hardly broke a sweat. I can't wait for tomorrow's game in perfect football weather.
