Boom just landed another recruit 6’6 300lb OLineman!!!!! Say what you want but at this point Gerad Parker is killing the recruiting trail. Everyone crying about the transfer portal but what we’re seeing is bigger schools don’t have enough spots cause their rosters are filled with transfers so Troy along other g5 schools are taking in some talent

Yes punter went there but not sure anyone else did. Plus , it seems like he has major influence on us from afar in coaches or players coming. I don’t honestly blame exhcjs in this world but does kind of add brownie points to exhcNbrownie.

Neal would have done the same thing. The difference is fewer Troy players could make an immediate impact on a P5 roster at the time than players that can make an immediate impact on Sumrall's roster in New Orleans.

However, the landscape of college football is light years different in just these 5 years.

I wouldn't be surprised if in another 5 to 10 years colleges just sponsored teams like cities do in the Pros. (Unless NCAA gets a tight grip on the transfer of $$$$ in the name of NIL)
