Quarterbacks coach Sean Reagan said the three competitors all have various strengths. Reagan noted Pruitt has the best throwing power and ability to recover from a mistake, while Silvers has the best throwing accuracy and makes the best reads. Tidwell knows the offense the best, he added. One aspect – mobility – remains a “dead heat” between Pruitt and Silvers, Reagan said. Reagan notes coaches want to have one main guy step up and be the starter but admitted a rotation between the top-two signal callers could form. For the past two years, the Trojans rotated Corey Robinson and Deon Anthony at quarterback. “If we do, it won’t be anything like we did with Corey and Deon, where Corey would run a few plays and Deon would come in for a play or a few plays,” Reagan said. “It would be more (Steve) Spurrier-like in which they rotate series.” m.dothaneagle.com/sports/troy/big-defensive-plays-highlight-troy-s-first-scrimmage/article_a96f54f4-2010-11e4-b3cb-0017a43b2370.html?mode=jqm
