PONTEBUGGIANESE, Italy – The Troy women's basketball team didn't shoot exceptionally well, but turned up the pressure in the second half of an 81-75 win over the Italy All-Stars on Wednesday night at Sandro Pertini in Pontebuggianese, Italy. The Trojans shot just over 36 percent (31-of-85) overall, including 13-of-39 in the second half, but forced 38 turnovers and scored 30 points off of them. Playing by FIBA rules, the game consisted of four, 10-minute quarters, with the Trojans dominating the third quarter to take control of the game. Troy held the All-Stars to just eight points in the third, and turned a tie game at halftime to a 61-55 lead entering the fourth quarter. ( Full Article)
