TROY, Ala. – Temperatures soared into the mid 90s on the hottest day of fall camp as the Troy football team worked out for nearly three hours on the practice fields behind Veterans Memorial Stadium on Wednesday. "There was competition on both sides of the ball for playing time, there was competition with offense and defense and the kicking game fitted in there a little bit," head coach Larry Blakeney said. "We got some things done, some good hard work. It was hot and we dealt with that pretty good." www.al.com/troy/index.ssf/2014/08/troy_football_presses_on_in_fa.html#incart_river
