Pick one home and one away that excites you the most this season.
Is there one that you aren't excited about? Tell us which one and why.

The two games that I chose have the same home state in common. I picked ULM for the away game because of our lack of winning success in Monroe. It's time to put that losing streak to an end. I also chose the Cajuns as a must-see game because of the potential title implications. It could bring the attendance up a bit...Last home game and a potential bowl bid/upgrade...what's not to like about that?

Home...Duke... Obvious pick for most everyone probably... Probable packed stadium, first home game of the year, and new stadium upgrades. And the ACC costal champ at our house. It's gonna be a fun day in Troy I think!
Away... USA.... For me it's a 4 day getaway weekend, getting to stay with one of my best friends (who happens to be a USA fan) and probably a large crowd. It will be a fight!
Least fav.... UAB.... God I hate playing at that dump. I'm not looking forward to this crappy game day experience at all. We will likely be put in the hottest part of the stadium as possible and just a crappy location against Uab.

I'm not a fan of trips to Mobile or Birmingham. It's the same crappy setup at two different locations. However, Georgia is the one I'm he least excited about. I look forward to a weekend in Atlanta, but nothing excites me about another trip to an SEC school.

Ya I mean USA doesn't have the greatest stadium by any means, but the crowd is better and tailgate than Uab is by a mile. And I want some seafood lol.

While I greatly dislike playing UAB in B'ham, I am excited to see if we are ready to get back to championship caliber. It's the first game if the season and if we come out strong I'll be ready to start mixing the koolaid. somewhat the same with Duke, first home game, we played them well last time, so another strong showing will really set us up for the rest of the season.

Home game I'm looking forward to: App State... Just have always liked App State for some reason.
Away game I'm looking forward to: Georgia Southern: I've heard their game day experience is great and I like the option style offense.
Home Game I'm NOT looking forward to: Eh... I'm looking forward to all of them, really.
Away games I'm NOT looking forward to: UAB and South

They have a fan base similar to ours and they support it very well. I was looking forward to seeing the triple option as it is what we ran at Troy when I played but they have a new coach and it will be more spread fast paced...similar to Oregon or Auburn. The coach came from Sam Houston State. I like our chances against this better than triple option, but they will be tough regardless.

No love for Idaho in the poll? If you charter the plane from the New Brockton International Airport, Package Store, Bait and Tackle, we will all go! I've got good news and bad news. I've got the flight booked. The bad news is the airport is closed for planting. However, who is up for a 38 hour, one way, bus ride with famous Amos? How many Cracker Barrels are there between Troy and Moscow?
