Any Trojan fans going to Georgia State game? If so, where are you parking/tailgating?

There will likely be a tailgate sponsored by alumni or the athletic department.

If my memory is correct, Troy Alums gathered at Wood's Chapel BBQ about a mile +/- east of the Stadium at 85 Georgia Ave SE two years ago (was told it's not available this year though) Alumni Association working on another location at this time. Other places to find Troy Fans will be at The Bullpen BBQ almost adjacent to the SW side of the Stadium on Pollard Blvd, next to the Downtown Connector (I-85/75). Parking can be secured online at Ga State website here> app.parkmobile.io/venues/center-parc-stadium/events/182757 Kick is at 7:00 pm Eastern time, ESPN+ at this time.

YOU have made it simple for everyone to find parking so I would ENCOURAGE everyone to use the link provided by Cornhole and make your reservations TODAY!! Some of the parking lots around the stadium are almost like playing hide and seek ... we have parked in Green Lot, Blue Lot, and Summerhill Lots for previous games ... understand you ARE going to walk further to get to the stadium than the options Troy provides. ALSO, think about the fact that Georgia State currently has a record that might bring their fans out, so they are probably currently purchasing their parking spaces for the same locations as us (understand that for them to park ON or near campus, it is more like a death march than a hike to get to the stadium). Based on what Cornhole has provided I went ahead and secured a place in Summerhill C Lot, 513 Capitol Ave SE, it is currently the closest lot to Georgia Avenue (where Wood's Chapel is located) and has several options for pre-game meals and/or beverages. Here is a link to give you an idea of the different options to eat and drink in that area (sorry it includes all businesses): summerhillatl.com/georgia-ave-landing/

Got attacked by a bicycle and almost lost a finger in a vicious oatmeal cream pie incident I head?

For the last Troy/GSU, we parked in the Green Lot (where they turned the old Fulton County Stadium into a parking lot). There was generally ample parking 30 minutes before kickoff. I believe it was free if I remember correctly.
You could make a pretty decent tailgate by getting a parking spot on the back edge of the parking lot. Cars generally don't start filling in until 15-30 minutes before kickoff.

Several years ago my wife got me a race experience at Talladega. Got to drive 10 laps in a cup car (detuned I'm sure lol) but still one of the greatest experiences of my life My wife gave me the same thing for my birthday about 20 years ago. It was by far the most exciting thing I've ever done. Until you have thrown one of those 3500# cars into the corner at 'Dega, on those 33 agree banks, you have NO IDEA what it's like. I will say one thing about the cars being "detuned". I asked the guy driving the van in our ride around how the cars are different from the cup cars on Sunday. I asked if the carbs or restrictor plates were different. Hd said no. He said the difference is that the "race experience" cars are built to go more than 700 miles, which is about what they expect to put on a Cup car on a race weekend, between practice, qualifying, and the race. How do they make the cars last longer? they used heavier internal parts (pistons, rods, cam shafts, valves etc). The heavier parts add rotational weight and therefore decrease the HP from around 800 to around 650. Other than that, the cars are identical to what they run on Sunday. By the way, I wanted to hit 150, I had a 149.14 MPH lap. I just missed 150, but 149.14 is fast as scat.
