Gunnar has been counted out quite a bit before. I think he will have a good shot to finish his career as starter

May the best man win. I want us to play for wins not play for favorites.
We massively underperformed at the QB position last year, a lot of opportunity for someone to seize upon.

We have to get more athletic at QB. I miss the days of Brandon and Barker who could at least extend plays and not get dragged down from behind by a 320 pound DT. Makes a huge difference when you have a mobil qb

I am not saying “Da Goose” or anyone else may not start. I am just saying Gunnar has a good shot at it as well. Being pushed makes one better or pull over to the side while someone passes you. Plus, he has been counted out before.

Weren't some of us saying this last year when the hot shot 4-star QB from Utah transferred here?
He apparently had a lot of work to do.
Now he's at Northern Colorado.

The way JS was talking about the QBs during spring and fall practice was a good indication that he wasn't going to play much. He had a lot of good things to say about the other QBs on the roster, but when it came to Costelli, his comments were pretty dry and generic or none at all. If Goose has a chance of playing, we'll know before a QB is announced. |
