Ok we are close to just 1 month away... What's your score prediction on this game?
For me, this game worries me more than any other on the schedule. Uab has finally got a good coach IMO. We have nothing to go off of to prepare for really. UAB should still be somewhat weak coming off 3-9, 3-9 and a 2-10 season. But they have not forgotten what happened in Troy last year... Our guys better come out firing. I gotta go with the good guys tho.
Low scoring game as both offenses are trying to find their way
Troy 17 UAB 14
Attendance 24,300 (first game with new coach and 10k+Troy fans)

slow first half for both teams- Troy depends on the run game early.
Troy leads at half 10-7.
QB is let loose in the 2nd half and Troy Wins 34-20.
Attendance- 25k

Could go either way. Can't see Troy only scoring 17, ATL. Southern Miss (0-23) dropped 62 on them at the end of the year. FAU held Southern Miss to 7 two weeks prior. With our improved O-line and running backs, and possibly a running QB, against what was CUSAs worst D-line last season, the passing game should be wide open to take advantage of. Not worried about the offense.
By the way, UABs OC was USAs QB coach last season (This is why I don't think USA replaces QB Ross Metheny so easily). If he runs UAB the way their offense ran at USA, we'll have some tape on him and won't go in so blind. Defense is still a concern considering they have one of the best WR units in CUSA. They have lots of talent there. Their RBs are good, but we're stacked at LB and the DL for Troy is extremely talented, though untested to this point.
No real score prediction but I will say it's probably going to be a high scoring affair and it's probably going to come down to the wire.
