“Everyone must prepare like a starter. “ -HCJS
“Prepare like you are a starter. “ - Bourbon filled TBB
When I’m sauced, I can channel my inner Jon Sumrall.

And coach didn't mention the officiating at all. Bummer.

^ HCJS doesn't want to get saddled with the rep HCLB had towards the end of his career as being an anti-officials coach. I felt several calls were truly egregious but I guess we just have the trust the conferences why they say they review the crews thoroughly after each game.

And coach didn't mention the officiating at all. Bummer. No reason to do that now. He’s a new head coach and he doesn’t need to make enemies of the officials. Also it’s frowned upon my the league to make comments about poor officiating.

I don't think that should stop Sun Belt Commish Keith Gill from calling USA Commish Judy MacLeod and demanding an apology for the end zone intentional grounding and a reprimand of the officiating crew.

Do we know if we were allowed to submit any plays for review/clarification by C-USA or Sunbelt? And if allowed did we?

Pretty confident the CUSA office had their phone disconnected due to lack of payment.

It seems like there would have to be some sort of process for asking why officials standing next to a kicker who gets run in to failed to call...what's it called again?....oh yea! Running into the kicker.

On the TD pass from Doege to Jabre that went to the front corner of the endzone, there was a flag thrown that was picked up or waved or whatever. The TV crew said it was for intentional grounding. I want an explanation from someone who was at the game. Did the White Hat signal intentional grounding or did the TV crew jump the gun. If it was the TV crew, I'll give them a pass because it was an exciting play. If, however, the White Hat signaled intentional grounding and they waved it off, I want an explanation. How in the name of all that's good in the world call intentional grounding on a pass that is completed for a TD?!?! The White Hat would have been the one responsible for that call and he is behind the QB (or should be) and is positioned to see what the QB is looking at. Not only did Doege throw it to Barber, who caught it, but it never hit the ground, nor did it cross a boundary, which are necessary components to GROUNDING. Somebody who was there, help me out.

That TV crew had a lot of errors. I think they meant Roughing the passer but I could be wrong. Also, you notice on the score graphic they had us listed as "Troy St"?

I did wonder if rather than jumping the gun the crew, as you suggest, said intentional grounding when they meant roughing. Either way, it was waved off or declined or whatever and the TD counted. As to the Troy St label on the score bug, I did notice that and I sincerely doubt that was an honest mistake/oversight. I don't know why all our opponents think that calling us Troy St is such an insult. I'm proud to say I am an alum of Troy St. My Troy St degree has served me well. It's not in any way an insult. It's disrespectful, but not insulting.

I still cannot, for the life of me, understand how you have intentional grounding AND a touchdown on the same play.
