I can't tell if Troy is still planning to add a transfer or two, or if they are completely done?
Obviously it said they've wrapped up their 2022 recruiting class, but it was mainly referring to the high school recruits. Transfers aren't necessarily counted as part of a recruiting class, correct?
It seems there are still one or two spots available on the roster. Would be nice to find a wing and/or another power forward... unless Scott Cross plans on making a young Tshimanga or a previously injured Geffrard the main big-guy.

Yes, just tough to figure out if "recruiting" includes or excludes Transfer opportunities. Just doing the math, it appears we lost 2 to graduation and 7 to transfers = 9 to replace. Agree, seems there's room for a couple more, grant-in-aids permitting.

In regards to me hoping Troy gets a talented power forward to transfer in... I was comparing Efe Odigie's stats to Zay Williams stats in 2021 (both played the same position).
Zay Williams actually had a higher shooting percentage, higher rebound average, and turned the ball over less.
Maybe Cross is going to put him back in Odigie's slot?

No offense intended to Zay, love the man. He's just not the physical presence that Efe was. Opponents learned to defend Efe hugely due to his physical threat. When opponents double teamed Efe (the pinch in the middle) others were left unguarded/unthreatened. We witnessed this many times, esp toward the end of the season. Without a physical replacement, we'll miss Efe.

Something to consider too is we have had a bunch enter the portal, but not everybody has signed elsewhere. I haven’t seen anything about Rifen Miguel or TK Smith signing with another school. I guess it’s possible some of them withdraw from the portal.

I guess it’s possible some of them withdraw from the portal. That is a possibility. Now some may not like the idea of taking them back but think about it this way. When we were young and tried to run away from home our parents took us back. Heck some of our moms even helped us pack a little bag. So, we too were leaving and most of us got about a block or two away till we got hungry or something like that. It is truly a different world than those days gone by but I am not sure that todays older kids are that much wiser than I was at age 6.

Me me me me is pretty much a 2-3 year old mindset. I DO understand VERY well that there is a larger and larger percentage of kids who are not taught that this way of thinking is POSSIBLY not correct in all situations. I know it is the way it is and many may think that my hesitation in just accepting it is antiquated if not just wrong. That may well have been the attitude of the folks that led to the development of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Yes, perhaps a little over the top but very little of today’s changes gives me much hope other than ONE!

TK Smith, Rifen Miguel, and Jakevan Leftridge still haven't found a landing spot... but I'd be surprised if they return to the roster.
Scott Cross has already mentioned that the guys returning are guys who bought in.
Sounds like Cross probably shut the door on the others returning.
