TROY, Ala. – Troy University and Daktronics announced Thursday a major audio and visual upgrade to Veterans Memorial Stadium prior to the 2014 football season. Daktronics will design, manufacture and install one main video board in the southeast corner of Veterans Memorial Stadium, two 100-yard ribbon displays to go along both upper decks and two marquee displays to replace the existing boards on Hwy. 231. A custom state-of-the-art audio system will also be installed. troytrojans.com/news/2014/7/10/FB_0710142747.aspxI think I'll have a beer.

What video board on 231 are they talking about? The sign on George Wallace off of 231. Replacement of it is long overdue. I think I'll have a beer.

Are they going to repair the old screen? it had some problems with colors and dark spots last season I doubt it. It will be replaced in the next year or two when it's tore down. I highly doubt they spend many thousands of dollars to replace it just to tear it down
