2020 season record 4-10 and 1-8 in conference and we have 10 freshmen from out of country. Are you telling me as popular as girl's soccer is here and the power house women's USA national team is that we can't recruit girls from here?? Soccer is HUGE here in Florida as is all over the country. I don't understand this. Tennis or golf I can see an issue but not soccer

I don’t care where the players come from but good programs can sustain success and don’t have to build for 4 years just to start over every 4 years!

You can't tell me that we have to go to Iceland to find players. The prior coach came in, turned us around year 1 and recruited where the soccer talent is.....right here!!! And our record this year was pathetic at best. Took the same team that went 7-1 in conference and 12 wins overall in 2019 to 4 wins and 1 win in conference in 2020. Sick of Troy sucking in basically every sport...exception is WBB (fantastic), Chicks baseball (improving but still can't beat a great team) and tennis and golf.

Just saw our girls soccer team off to another Final Four! The Final Four in the largest division in Alabama this year is Vestavia vs Oak Mountain and Spain Park vs Hoover. Nine of the past eleven state champions have been from three of those schools. Due to ad blocker I cannot access TroyTrojans at school, but I would be curious how many players from any of those schools have been on Troy’s roster the past decade?
Interesting side note, the farthest distance between those four schools is eleven miles! College coaches SHOULD be very aware of our area.

Enough soccer talent in FL, GA and AL to not need to go anywhere else. I keep forgetting the prior soccer coaches name (the one that came from UF and turned us around year one) he knew exactly where to get the talent and it was areas we hadn't touched. I've even said it about volleyball (my area here) we have three schools (2 private and one public that have about 5 state championships in the last 5 years and mutiple D1 players. Don't even know if we recruit here)

But do you know how many Alabama and Auburn and South have combined? 1. UAB who is in that area has 4. So maybe us non soccer experts aren't as smart of the soccer ability here in the state as those who professionally coach it.

Players from England, Sweden, Australia, California, Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri and a sprinkling of Alabama, Florida, Georgia Players.

I just did a count, and according to the roster listed, 42% list foreign nations as their home. I'm wondering if there is an underlying financial or other favorable factor involved here in awarding spots to foreigners.

Since you brought the UAB number up, one of those was a hard Troy commit until the coaching change!

Mens Golf finishes 11th at SBC Championship - good thing South was 12th. (will resolve itself since the Coach resigned)
