Coincidentally the two conferences that have cancelled Football are also the two conferences who have organized player unity groups. Just something to think about.

I believe you are right in your thinking. Certainly will be easier to avoid pay and other issues next year when there is nothing to stop the games from being played. There are a lot more players who just want to play instead of being paid to play and the peer pressure will cause the issue to wither. Does smell of strategy for those conferences.
