New Manchester has continued to hatch its new breed of talent after Niata Alexander declared that she is signing to Troy University on a full scholarship next fall. “They are big on education, they have a great track facility and I like the coaches.” Alexander said on the decision. Prior to her decision, Alexander was also looking at Memphis, Central Florida, Kennesaw State, North Carolina A&T, Mississippi State and several other notable institutions on her radar, but felt that Troy suited her best for the future. Alexander is a standout runner for New Manchester and has been on the team since her freshman year. Hailing as a key ambassador for Jaguar track and field program, Alexander competes in 400 and 200-meter races. She added that she is also used sometimes in the 100. ( Full Article) iconTroy3

The attitude that Troy is to small and we can't recruit to it is poison. Recruit hard, recruit everywhere possible, you never know what you can get.
