Sure it is. We all want our Trojans to do well.
But, in your opinion which Trojan should have been invited ?
Note: an NFL committee with input from the teams, scouts and services voted on who gets invited. If you get enough votes, you are in. And it obviously can’t be a free for all, nobody wants to spend weeks evaluating every kid that signs up.

You are 100% correct on your points, and obviously I had unrealistic expectations of our graduating students...

Or don’t know the players that well. I’ll help: Chunn and Silvers had legit shots. Lebbie has the measurables but.. If Brown has a blow up SR. campaign, look out.

If Brown has a blow up SR. campaign, look out. I agree. Chunn and Silvers had a good year, but I think their stats didn't help them with the Combine invites. Not fair, but what can you do about it... Chunn didn't have nearly as good of a senior season statistically compared to his junior season, and the same goes for Silvers. If Chunn rushes for 1,000 yards again and breaks the Sun Belt TD record, he possibly gets an invite.

DuJaun Harris made it into the Pros and I didn't think he would. Chunn is a good, hard pounding, downhill runner. He can punish linebackers. If he could change directions a little quicker, and just had a little more speed, I think he'd be sought after. I think Chunn could be a free agent at least and be on somebody's roster. Running backs get injured a lot and it's nice to have a Chunn ready to play.
Free agency is not as easy for a quarterback. Once a team gets the one they like, they get the linemen to protect him and they tend to not get beat up so they stay longer. I don't think Silvers got a fair shake at the Senior Bowl. I would have let the headliners (Mayfield, et al) play a couple of drives to prove they can operate in a pro style offense and then put in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th guys and let them show what they can do too. I thought that was what the Senior Bowl was all about. I'd try to give all the players a decent amount of playing time and they didn't.

Just read this about Silvers..I think it helps to understand his situation... link
