Not much we can say to this as we have never sold out ever, 30,000.

Now I really want to beat them, since obviously their fans don't seem to think we're a team worth coming out for.

I'm Auburn alumni and I get mail all the time asking if I want to buy mini season packages. Tickets to non SEC opponents. I don't ever want to get to that point. I want to be like CNB says a hungry football team. When Alabama State rolls into town next weekend, I want them to hear the roar of a hungry crowd. To me, it could be Alabama State or Mississippi State rolling into Troy.. I'm going to try my best to be there and be loud.

Not much we can say to this as we have never sold out ever, 30,000. More to the point is the fact that no matter their success the past 15 years their fanbase is littered with fans that only show up when they are on top of the mountain.

Did I read article correctly ... one fan said cheapest adult ticket was $60? Ouch! That seems implausible ... but if true, maybe that's the issue?

The fans don't want to see a Bronco loss.

With the prices they charge I can understand. Almost 80$ per ticket. LSU only charges around $45.

Did I read article correctly ... one fan said cheapest adult ticket was $60? Ouch! That seems implausible ... but if true, maybe that's the issue? Yes, the upper corners and end zone are $59 (plus tax and fees). The regular seats are $79 (plus tax and fees). Most people aren't going to pay those prices unless we're playing a Pac-12 or bigger P5 school, especially families and on Labor Day weekend. Season ticket holders are going to make up almost all of the crowd on Saturday.

Just goes to show at any point fans will always do what they do....in the last years of Bobby Bowden FSU Was having huge no show and non purchased tickets particularly for non-BIG schools

Curiosity got me ... checked their ticket site ... not $60 ... but $38 were cheap, endzone tickets. Everything else (sidelines, upperdeck) $60 or better! For sure not an inexpensive outing!

I have a friend that is a season ticket holder and he says a lot of his group quit buying because the games were starting so late because Boise was chasing TV revenue and their games were in freezing weather. For a 9 pm night game his group would start tailgating around 5pm and it was already getting dark and freezing weather. Then you hike to the stadium in mukluks and parkas so you're sweating when you reach your seat. Then you freeze for 4 hours and get home around 1;30-2am. It's cold in Boise in the winter.

Idaho is a mountain paradise and it's Labor day weekend. Some people dont realize how good Troy is so they headed for the mountains for one last camping before colder weather comes along.
It will still be loud as all hell. The tailgate parties will still be a blast.
Im at every home game. Sick or healthy, cold or hot. I'll be pulling up to the tailgate at 10 am and hope to meet some of your fans.
