Schedule a "Color" Out game. They havent worked. Not a single time.
Just simply let them play football and let us show up sporting Troy gear.

Didn't have a darn thing with us loosing. We got out coached and out played. They found a flaw in our offense and out schemed us. Plain and simple

I'm not sure they outplayed or outcoached us. We shot ourselves in the foot with turnovers and failing to capitalize on the excellent field position in the first half. And their best passer was the punter! He sure couldn't kick....

In my opinion... Our student sections were full enough where you could actually tell it was a blackout game. In the past it would have been 3 fraternity pledges saving seats for brothers that never showed. I say let the students decide. If they want Hawaiian shirt day let em have it.

The students were fantastic.
I am not saying it was superstition. But, if something always puts a L on thr schedule just dont do it anymore.
Its just dumb like that g@y jet was. Simply play football. That is all.

Instead of worrying about black out games how about we stop whining about not being ranked and running off about going to the cotton bowl with three games left. Well we got ranked for 5 days and got embarrassed last night. Only ranking that matters is at the end of the year. Now let's concentrate on winning the last two and worry about how they rank us at the end

On that play, Cam Echols-Luper lined up as punter. He has punted for us a few times but was a QB in high school.

When it was clear ASU changed punters on 4th and short in a part of the field that screams "go for it". My crew is screaming "FAKE" as soon as a different punter ran on the field. I just wish there had been a T.O. used in that situation. Feel like it was a fail on the part of our press box coaches.

And their best passer was the punter! He sure couldn't kick.... As coach Brown said, we DID get our played and out coached. Their entire line both offensively and defensively are seniors and the D tackles were GOOD! Our offense is predictable and Chunn is our beast but he doesn't have a chance. Everyone keys on him because of our scheme predictability. Our passing game just never showed up for a lot of reasons that coach Brown identified. We've had a great year, better that most of us expected. We just need to regroup and give ASU credit, they WHOOPED us, big time. My biggest surprise was the fact I have come to expect this team to fight back never conceding and for the first time this year I didn't see that. Coach Brown is identifying and will address the right things that happened. I hope to see the tackling of some of the defensive backs dealt with. They look like they don't want to deliver or take a lick when tackling thus missed tackles and long gains by the opponents and at this point of the season, that's not good. I think we will get back to where we were but that loss eliminated the bigger bowls sadly!

AGREE, "only play in the game that made me lose my mind"! It sounds like we were ALL screaming watch out for the FAKE except the coaches who the players were looking to for their assignments.

Our section was as well. We yelled "TAKE A TIME OUT", but nothing!:-( From upstairs in the coaches booth it had to be even more obvious than our seats. The kicker was only 10 yards deep. Was it the same kicker?

Was it the same kicker? It very well could've been an oversight by your coaching staff, however, I have to take up for them at little. Foncham is our regular punter. Echols-Luper is the legit backup. Yes, he may be the fastest person on the field (Big12 champion in track), but he really is our backup. We've shown to punt with either, so your coaches had film on both. We hadn't ran a fake punt all year long, so no film there. Your coaches may have just assumed we were trying out a new punter, since Foncham had just shanked a 14yarder out of bounds and was struggling. Doesn't excuse the oversight, but it's understandable to a point. The real reason I wanted to post here was to brag on your student section. You should be proud of them! On the radio yesterday, our sideline reporter said an hour before the game we took all the visitor benches and moved them away from your student section...all the way to the other end!

You guys have a great team with excellent athletes BUT if that first punter was your best choice, someone needs to go recruiting! Just sayin'!
