This schedule looks very weak. There is a huge difference in the OOC schedules between the men and women. Women are playing a brutal OOC that will only benefit them come tourney time. I'm just wondering if the men's schedule is to try to boost their record after 6 mediocre to poor seasons? Makes me wonder?? Thoughts???

It's not very tough either. I think playing the toughest teams you can OOC helps you come tourney time. I know Pat Summit always said that

I think the schedule is pretty middle of the road as far as prep for conference, but the travel will tell. At Hawaii and then back out to Vegas. I just HATE that the Vegas trip is same weekend as ALL of our bowl tie-insπππ

The schedule isn't that weak. It's about what it should be for a team that hasn't had a winning record since 2010.
Not-so-good Teams:
Alabama State Alabama A&M Chicago State Southeast Missouri
Middle of the Road:
Eastern Illinois San Francisco Wyoming
Pretty good:
USC Hawaii UAB
I'd rather Troy finally have a winning record and possibly get a postseason bid to one of those small tournaments, instead of playing a bunch of tough teams, having a losing record, and sitting at home again. If this team turns out to be good enough for the NCAA Tournament, they have an opportunity to win the SBC tourney.

I know Alabama State can be a dangerous team... that upset over VaTech last season shows. But typically Troy can out-man Alabama State... and Alabama A&M really isn't that impressive.

Some credit for Mr. AD in finding some real obscure teams that should be Wins. I assume these are legit teams and will be counted.

Toccoa Falls- W EIU- W @ UAB- L @ EIU- L @ San Fran- L @ Hawaii- L USF- Toss Up ASU- W AAMU- W Point U.- W @ SC- L @ Wyoming- L vs. Cornell-L vs. SEMO or Chicago State-W

I'll be rooting for Troy. But I have no faith in Cunningham as a coach, so I don't expect our record to improve. I hope I am wrong

I'm sure he didn't because we didn't have pulling guards in our blocking scheme and I played tackle

Mr. Ho always like to point out TMTDM win Sunbelt title in 2010. This year schedule look like a vacation trip....SFO...Hawaii...Chicago...and handing out plenty of resumes as well.
