That stinks... he was a pretty good player with good size.
Hopefully some other guys on the D-line can step in and step up.

He did what he was supposed to do. He did things the right way on and off the field and earned his degree. I wish him and his wife all the best and thank you for being a Trojan and your contribution to both Troy football and Troy University. He did not quit, his heart was not in playing anymore and being a husband with his degree he is ready to start the next chapter of his life.

Maybe this is where the new guy Baron Poole or the young guy Demone Kemp can step in. I remember last season that CNB was praising Kemp for his abilities on the practice squad.

DT Seth Calloway has been one of the players of the day several times this spring. He's going to be pretty good I think.

If his heart isn't in it, then I am glad that he is stepping away. I would rather him step away now rather than not giving 100% every game.
I wish him the best. I am sure it was tough to step away and face the coaches and players.
Hopefully we can build back some depth on that DLine!
I guess this opens up a spot for a late transfer.
