Offensive coordinator Kenny Edenfield hasn’t faced too much wrath this week from the biggest fan of one of his starting receivers. K.D. Edenfield’s first career touchdown, though it came on a blocked-punt return, left mom/wife Pamela with a smile, which spread peace through the household.“She was still talking about it the next day,” K.D. Edenfield said. “She was pretty excited about it.”The Trojans (5-4, 3-2 Sun Belt) play at Louisiana-Lafayette (6-2, 3-0) on Thursday, and they hope Edenfield scores again.This time, maybe it will be for his dad. “She’s been busting my chops because I wouldn’t throw him one,” Kenny Edenfield said. “I told him he had to get open. Well, he made his own, so that was really good to see.”
Both Kenny and K.D. admit that Kenny doesn’t get credit for last week’s touchdown, and special teams coordinator Shayne Wasden may be the most popular Troy assistant in the Edenfield household.
