Are we playing them on the 10th or the 24th? Both schools schedules differ. Miss St. says Oct 10th and ours says Oct 24th. DT84 is getting married on the 10th and is going to hate to have to schedule some serious tv coverage at this event if on the 10th.

It is apparently on the 10th because State is playing Kentucky on the 24th and Kentucky's site confirms this. I missed the last game with them because our beloved schools AD couldn't get the site right and I had a buddy schedule his wedding for the wrong weekend. i was best man and could make that call. Pretty sad they cant keep the site up to date and correct. TV's it will be. Sure hope its an early kick.

They changed it after they saw me b*&%#^)$ on here. I swear we are not going to be big time until we act big time. Would have not chosen that date if people did their job. Sure wanted to go to that one.

That is why I purposefully got married before the season started- to avoid any football conflicts.
You have 11 other chances to catch the Trojans play. Why don't you try to hit up some road conference games? Those are more fun and most of the times in better cities than Starkville.

That schedule change was likely due some kind of SEC schedule change.

Yea that was the plan. Never had one argument until the planning started. DT84 is ready to go to the court house.

I normally don't charge a set amount to do a wedding. Couples just give what they think. But.....I have started charging in football season.

You should think about a common law marriage, that way you will never have a ceremony conflict with a TROY event.

I normally don't charge a set amount to do a wedding. Couples just give what they think. But.....I have started charging in football season. Priorities askew ? Not at all. Every couple I marry goes through six weeks of marriage counseling plus another two meetings just for planning the ceremony. Then, a Friday night and all day Saturday taken up for the wedding. When couples come to me sometimes over a year in advance they don't have a date even picked out. So I share with them the dates that I charge because my family is very busy in the fall. They know everything before they choose that date. Now if the couple is in my church no charge.
