Today is the first day for midterm signees. There was a presser last year and I believe we had a few updates throughout the day last year. With the offensive tempo Neal runs, whoever we get as defensive coordinator will likely need some immediate help to build quality depth. We know of two JUCO LBs from #1 EMCC that could send in LOIs today.
What do you guys think we need and what do you think we'll get?

We need major help on the D-Line and at the corner position. Hopefully we can some immediate impact players there.

Defensive line for sure and maybe a backup holder or two.

We have the player to win with both on O and D, we just need some more depth and have them coached up. With the new staff on board change is coming and the Trojans will be back on top. "Its T Time"

Hopefully, we will see some of the UAB student athletes make the trek south register for the upcoming semester and be here for Spring drills so that they can make an immediate impact on our program this upcoming season!
Go TROY!

Go TROY! According to the Sports Station in Mobile several of the former UAB players have jumped over to South Alabama.

Figured some offensive guys would go with the old UAB offensive coordinator down there.

Makes sense transferring from one university with a medical school to another one. BOTH schools have a College of Health Professions with numerous undergraduate programs in the health fields.

I thought we were in pretty good shape at LB. I really like Lebbie and Roland. We are pretty solid at the mike, I'm Presuming these two play will or Sam? We need help at DL and we have to get some interior hs guys who can be in the system. We have done a great job at hs DE with Roberts and Stadom but we are relying on transfers and juco for DT and have mixed results at best. We need DBs and safeties also but the quality of the commits we're getting with Brown is far exceeding what I anticipated. Great job

NO inside information, just a gut feeling based on today's announcements

Would love to see some interior guys here longer than 1-2 years to see how they develop.

Slader, Calloway and Peek are interior linemen that will be around the next two to three years. With the coaching from the new DC Troy will have a line that will be able to compete with anyone in the Sunbelt Conference.

Calloway and Peek worked extremely hard and I think there is a great deal of potential with the right coaching and scheme. The future is bright,
