If you were running a fantasy football league consisting of just Sun Belt Conference players, Troy’s true freshman running back Jordan Chunn might be a wise pickup.
Chunn is second in the league in rushing touchdowns with nine, just two behind Western Kentucky’s Antonio Andrews. According to Troy Media Relations, Chunn leads all freshmen in rushing TDs.
But Chunn may or may not be the most productive Trojans running back, depending on which statistic you use. Chunn has 20 fewer carries and 163 fewer yards than Brandon Burks, and Burks leads Chunn in yards per carry 4.7 to 3.9.
So, does Burks – who only has one rushing touchdown this season – mind yielding all the scores to the “touchdown vulture” Chunn?
“Not at all. I don’t see it as a touchdown or yards game,” the Daleville High product said. “I just see it as having fun.” (Full Article)
