better for effin sure not be Bolt. All his sense was drained by the gastric bypass...
Bill Clark maybe? DT84 hears UA's B Team is done. I know he might be looking for a HC job but that might not be so easy not even in D2. Even if he is a job jumper we need some fire lit on the D side. DT84 believes the fire is brewing on the O side with the HC announcement.

Kept Wasden, not sure what he has been doing the last four years, has not been coaching special teams though. He may bring back Rowell !! Jeremy was just misunderstood under CLB.

Two Troy buys, 1 coordinator and 1 LB coach

The UAB staff does have a few guys on their staff that we would be crazy not to go after though! They're all fiery coaches, very good recruiters & have Troy ties. 1. Bryant Vincent 2. Duwan Walker 3. Chuck Dunn

So is Edenfield a talented guy and just hasn't had the tools to succeed lately? I really didn't expect him to be back.
Bill Clark seems like it would be quite a coup. Isn't the deal with him he's trying to stay in Alabama until he reaches a certain point? I read that somewhere.

But regardless. NB will be running that offense

Sometimes cleaning house is the most appropriate thing to do. Fire 'em all and start over. I get it. This is what I don't get. What was probably the most prolific and successful period in TROY history, from an offensive standpoint, occurred when the team of Brown, Edenfield and Wasden were running the offense. Why must we assume that 5 years later that team can't once again be successful? It almost seems as if there is a personal reason for wanting these three gone. It was frequently claimed on here that some supported Rowell because they were related to him, that the support he received was because he was kin. Now the unhappiness over the retention of these coaches makes me think they are guilty of killing someone's best hunting dog. Cousins in high places, dead huntin' dogs...it's just a little Peyton place around here. Day one of the Neal Brown era is not yet over. Let's give him a chance.

Jon Sumrall is a guy who really deserves looking at. He would be a great recruiter, a good role model and a great defensive coach. He has been at Tulane the last three years...a defense that has held a team together. He played linebacker at Kentucky and his players will go off the wall for him.

Great player and a better guy. He can recruit and has ties to the north Alabama area.
