ULM entered its second and final short week of the season on Monday as it prepares for a Thursday night televised game at Troy. The Warhawks, who usually take Mondays off from practice, hit the turf Monday afternoon in half pads with the anticipation of the next game, which will be televised on ESPNU Halloween night. ULM (4-4, 2-1) will aim to extend its win streak to a season-high three after soundly defeating Georgia State for perhaps its most convincing win of the season 38-10.“I was pleased with the way we played this last week,” ULM head coach Todd Berry. “It’s amazing. We had the open date the week before and got some players back that were healthy and getting emotionally back too and played pretty well — the way we want to play. We’re anxious to build on that with this short week. It creates concern, obviously, playing against a good Troy team this week.” ( Full Article)
