Well done. Need to retire the white lids. Ugh. Cardinal lids are top notch. We should do white only with the digi camo or stars and stripes logo in my opinion it just looks better that way.

Wasn't Ron Robert's interviewed as well? He's mentioned for the USM job as well.

some tidbits for us to consider 1. How will the tourney look with no fans 2. Since we were regular champs, we should get the aq bid 3. This is getting out of hand That's if we have a tournament.

Yes mistakes happen. I am not complaining about the mistakes. The lack of his improvement to make throws down field and make plays under pressure. Was very hot and cold as well. Anyone who could do that was fine. I just had zero confidence in KB. I don't believe he was healthy enough to begin the season and should have red shirted to be completely healthy. I presume that if GW had made such improvement over the course of the off-season and beyond, KB would have been benched for the better player. Coaching staffs are paid to make those decisions, keyboard coaches remind me of backseat drivers. And did you answer foulpolephenom's question re: Gunnar's readiness? I presume the same. He looked ready to me just lacked game experience. I remember people calling for GW over Sawyer in 2018 after the Liberty game. I'm not trying to be a coach just a fan that has an opinion no matter how right or wrong that may be.

I did call for his benching and at times it was warranted. Some were probably emotions of the game I'd admit or nothing seeing something. I don't care where a coach comes from if they're the best person for the job. It wasn't warranted. Mistakes happen. But what exactly did you ever see from Gunnar that shows he was ready to take over for Kaleb. Yes mistakes happen. I am not complaining about the mistakes. Not sure how that applies. Kb made way to many mistakes that were costly. I've always liked the arm and accuracy GW has. But definitely not a D rider. I literally heard you call for his benching on things that are not his fault (bad offensive line, tipped and bobbled balls) so yeah. You just don't like KB kinda like how some want (The HC we don’t speak of) to dissappear cause of his Auburn stank. Yeah i am calling yall out, what then I did call for his benching and at times it was warranted. Some were probably emotions of the game I'd admit or nothing seeing something. We should be 8-0 to a minimum 7-1 headed to Jonesboro. Biggest issue is a week 4 bye week. That's going to to hurt. Don't mind him, hes a GW D*** rider, look at his posts bashing KB and worshipping GW Not sure how that applies. Kb made way to many mistakes that were costly. I guess living in North Al I think differently and would like to see it happen. Murfreesboro is about 2 hours away which makes it a very easy road trip or getaway reason weekend to Nashville. It would help in recruit general students to Troy and increase the Alumni support in North Alabama. I would like to see a three game set with them playing home and home then neutral site at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

8-4 is the median for sure but I can as high as undefeated. What I am thinking at the moment is 10-2. I like the way you think. Or maybe whatever you are drinking! Made the same prediction on Twitter the other day.

Word on the “skreet” is Troy is drowning in bond debt... so look for a “cheap” hire. If that's the case then why does the school continue to keep building? Why not take a break and pay off some of that debt? Now I have heard the comment about bond debt before. Whether its true or not I don't know.

Team as a whole is improving, we will be good later this season if not sooner. HCSC is a difference maker The team and CSC has improved some since the AAMU game hopefully that game was an outlier. Still not sure if we can score enough to win especially in higher scoring games. Does anyone know what his offensive philosophy is?

He was DC and Co-DC at San Diego in FCS but he hasn't been a DC at the FBS level even though he should be qualified. Is it because he doesn't want to be a DC or just hasn't been given the opportunity. He would have been my second choice for a position coach to hire as HC and around my 5th choice overall. (The HC we don’t speak of) and Sumrall... who were the other three?? Dell McGee, Matt Moore and either John Schlarman (if healthy) or Will Hall. I really wanted Dell McGee.

Only if we want to get worse. Only way at this would be an upgrade at all would be experience. I've seen enough of Ted Roof to know he is awful. 22nd ranked scoring defense in the country this year. You’ve got too much Auburn in you. This year is the exception and how much of that credit goes to the prior staff and having returning veteran leadership. From what I remember he had above average defensive's but they weren't great. But I would give him a chance if he'd come. But why would't Drink take him with him to Mizzou?

New strength coach will be hired. Things are happening, let’s just see how far things go. Hearing two or three different things. I know conditioning is on the strength coach but would the injuries issue this year be on him or the AT staff? Just seemed like we had more injuries than normal this year.

The thing about Sumrall is he hasn't even been a coordinator yet. I know he is well liked because he probably shook your hand and remembers your name, but I think he is ready to be a DC somewhere and not a HC. I believe in the progression from position coach to coordinator to head coach. He was DC and Co-DC at San Diego in FCS but he hasn't been a DC at the FBS level even though he should be qualified. I believe in the progression from position coach to coordinator to head coach. DABO SWINNEY! Dabo won the job because of how he coached and recruited as interim coach when Tommy Bowden resign. That is a big difference. Side not I didn't realize VK was the DC at Clemson at the time.

If there is a change at DC go after Ted Roof, unless he ends up at Missouri. You could double his salary at Troy, from what he made at App St, and still save money. Only if we want to get worse. Only way at this would be an upgrade at all would be experience. I've seen enough of Ted Roof to know he is awful.

UWF beat #1 seed Valdosta State which some you may remember as a school we played often back in the day. With that being said, I think South Gump couldn’t of done that because they suck at football. Isn't the OC at VSU Levi Brown?

All three of them sat last season. I consider them part of the 2019 class. We are down 3 in the portal, and have no new transfers to my knowledge. 247Sports indicating Iowa incoming McDonald in 2020 Class with status not posted.
