Buzz, You aint lying. I was in Tallahassee earlier this week and the air is filled with failure. Everywhere we went was just trashed. Starbucks was dirty and the socialists pretending to work there didn't work. Momo's pizza which was once a regionally famous pizza joint is terrible. Again, socialists making pizza makes bad pizza. I really despise going there. I was in Tallahassee yesterday and had the opposite experience. The young students working at Starbucks were working their asses off getting customers taken care of. The people working at the bookstore were very friendly and the young lady at the cafe made two awesome cups of evening coffee for our ride home. Also points for the whole place being queer friendly and full of geeks of all ages and stripes. It's always fun to go there. The 20 something at the restaurant we ate at was great and we commiserated over the game on the tv. Like everything else, Tallahassee is a mixed bag of a lot of different people with different ideas. *Starbucks in Thassee tends to be a reflection of the manager more than anything else. The one at Kerry Forest is typically really good. The one by Trader Joe's has always been awful. Haven't tried the new one by the mall, and the one by Home2 is hit or miss but generally ok. It's not "socialists." It's management. I'm curious, what indicates a place being "queer friendly"?

Bowl games have lost all meaning. FSU lost this game before kickoff. It’s a shame. Georgia and FSU should have been a good game. Yep. Will ESPN step in and change the transfer rules? I wish they would.

Screw our former coach. He can take a long walk off a short pier. And yes...Tulane can burn to the ground. If Tulane lined up to play ISIS, I'd be in the stands with a black flag and a white smudge. I get what you are saying, but I spent a good portion of my career on those ba$tards. They are evil scum and I could never support them.

When a new coach arrives, it is understood, by most, that a majority, if not all, of the coaching staff will turn over. We understood that, even discussed it. That said, for the ENTIRE staff to follow the previous HC is, as was posted on Twitter, gut punch after gut punch. The positive in this, I guess, is that those departing coaches are recognized as quality coaches and by all considerations, it appears those coming onboard are as well. Yeah, the way I feel about it now is: $umrall can eat a bag of

Rusty Director of Recruiting? It's most likely so they can pay him more. HR has all kinds of BS titles that they give to justify someone's pay. Director sounds important enough that someone doesn't mind paying him.

Any chance HCGP (and Troy Colective) can lure Steve Angeli away from ND to Troy with the high profile/high paid, Duke's Riley Leonard, coming to ND. Steve Angeli is having a real good bowl game today. I would say with our acquisition of HCGP, the chances are not zero.

So, there they were, 2.65 million folks, probably with better things to do, gathered 'round the TV sets or crammed into the sweltering bleachers of the new Legion Field(I don't know or care about the name of the new joint). It was the Birmingham Bowl, a clash of pigskin titans—Troy against Duke. A spectacle that somehow managed to attract more eyes than a cat video on the internet.
Picture it: a football game in the heart of the Deep South, where the air was thicker than molasses and the excitement palpable, like the fizz in a shaken-up soda bottle. Troy, the scrappy underdog, locked horns with Duke, probably more used to sipping tea in fancy parlors than dealing with Southern grit.
In those 2.65 million pairs of eyes, there was a kind of collective curiosity, a shared "What the heck is gonna happen next?" as the players danced across the field. The football sailed through the air like a metaphorical bird, and each catch or fumble felt like a punchline in some cosmic joke.
Cheers erupted and curses were muttered, a cacophony of human emotion echoing through the humid air. It wasn't just a game; it was a communal experience, a fleeting diversion from the mundanity of life. And when the final whistle blew, there was either joy or dismay, but in the end, it was just a bunch of folks who'd spent a few hours together in the strange ritual of watching grown men chase an oddly-shaped ball.
So, in the grand scheme of things, the Birmingham Bowl became a blip in the timeline of those 2.65 million lives. A quirky chapter, a footnote in the annals of absurdity. But hey, for a moment, they all shared something—whether they liked it or not.

The rules are weird man. We were tailgating one time and it was really hot outside. A pair of band members in full uniform were talking to each other about finding water. I hollered for them to come over and take some bottles of water and anything else we had at our tailgate. They said they couldn’t because they could get in big trouble. I gave them water and my business card. I said if they had any problems at all, to call me and I would speak to Uncle Jack. If the band can’t take free water, then the rules for football must be really messed up.

Good luck to these young men. I read somewhere that something like 70% of transfer players don't start at their new team.

Listen, y'all, I reckon I'm feeling the blues, just like any other football soul out there. The game's done gone and shifted its shape. Coaches and players, they're up and leaving schools like it's nothin'. Kids, they're strolling into signing day behind the wheel of a Lamborghini. An undefeated FSU, told to hit the road. The game, it's riddled with corruption and schemes, and there's likely more foul play that slipped my mind in that tirade.
Now, the bright side: our love for Troy still burns strong. Troy, she's one of the truest gems in all of college football. Gameday on campus, it's a haven of safety and joy for you and yours. But what matters most is that Troy's still hungry for a scrap. The conniving mouse and the deep pockets up north of Richmond, they're aiming to smother Troy's shot at the big time. But Troy, she don't give a damn. We've always been the underdog, scrappin' and clawin', and that's what makes it so damn beautiful. You might not catch a victory every game, but stick with Troy, and sooner or later, you're hoisting another Sun Belt title, maybe even takin' down LSU on their own turf. Troy ain't asking for much either. Sure, you can stretch that wallet wide for Gary or Jonesy, but they ain't chasing you down for it. A ticket to a Troy game? A measly 10 bucks. The big spender who throws down a million, he's as glad to see the guy with the 10-dollar ticket.
So, let's all rally 'round old Troy, do what we can, even if it's just us fans congregatin' here, doing what we do best.

Adios. Honestly I don't care that guys leave because it's all business these days. This is why Gunnar is the GOAT though. Hopefully HCGP can bring in some pieces and keep this thing rolling. Mike Turk is The GOAT.
