I hope it is clear to all these transfers that in 9 or 10 years when we celebrate the championship teams, these guys should come back to be honored. Once a Trojan, always a Trojan. That goes for Rowell and (The HC we don’t speak of). I was right there with you till the last few words. Did you throw up a little in your mouth when typed that? Both of those guys contributed in some way to Troy. Granted they were not coaching material, but before that.

I want young hungry bulldogs and it appears that is exactly what HCGP is putting together. You won't be able to sleep on the 2024 Trojans, the scoreboard will glow too bright.

The answer is simple. Have the SBC tell the mouse to F off. SBC football needs to go the route of Twitch and Rumble. Twitch streamers that play chess make more money that Troy Football. <-- the data is out there. The SBC football teams don't need broadcast or cable television anymore. Everyone has the internet these days. Build an app, figure out how to make a high quality broadcast of the games and start counting the cash. Build your own espn. Don't be slaves to the mouse. The money is out there, don't let someone else collect it for us.

Whoever is in charge of the bios on troytrojans.com... could you please update Ms. Judy's bio? Don't talk to her about it, just do it. We don't bother The Queen with such small matters. troytrojans.com/sports/football/roster/staff/judy-morgan/9I wrote a little something that can be cut and pasted: Ms. Judy Morgan, the heart and soul of the Troy University Trojans football program, has been a dedicated administrator for nearly three decades. Affectionately known as "Ms. Judy," she embarked on her remarkable journey under the tutelage of legendary coach Larry Blakeney, setting the stage for an enduring legacy. With unwavering commitment, Ms. Judy has weathered coaching transitions, serving with distinction under esteemed mentors like Neal Brown and Jon Sumrall. Currently an integral part of Head Coach Gerad Parker's team, she is the steadfast foundation upon which Troy football stands. Celebrating an extraordinary milestone, Ms. Judy's nearly 30-year tenure speaks volumes about her unparalleled dedication and loyalty. In an ever-evolving sports landscape, her enduring presence symbolizes the continuity and stability that define the Troy University football program. Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Judy has seamlessly coordinated events, facilitated recruiting efforts, and meticulously maintained the program's invaluable information database. Her contributions extend far beyond the administrative realm, embodying the essence of Trojan pride and spirit. A native of Pike and Coffee counties, Ms. Judy is a proud graduate of Zion Chapel High School and attended Wallace Business College. Her roots run deep in the Troy community, where she has called home for decades. Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Judy is the epitome of Trojan dedication, a sentiment echoed by all who have had the privilege of working alongside her. As the heartbeat of Troy football, Ms. Judy Morgan remains an indispensable part of the Trojan family, weaving an indelible thread into the rich tapestry of the program's history. Her enduring legacy is a testament to the profound impact of a career marked by passion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Just search "Troy offer" on X, and you'll see where HC Gerad Parker, Caleb Carbine, and our LB coach have been recruiting hard for high school, JUCO, and portal players. Lots of very talented players with great size and high ratings that Troy has been going after. Things are looking good. Any QBs? I’m hearing we may have a shot at a 5* out of Mississippi named Shooter Wilson. He doesn’t have a highlight page because he doesn’t want to do the whole social media stuff.

I grew up during the Division 2 years and was fortunate to see two Nattys. I was a student at Troy and a flunkie during the 1AA years. Before the internet, I would wear my Troy State gear and people had no clue about Troy. In fact, my Jr High football coach asked me once, "Did Troy State make the playoffs?" We had just won the 1987 Natty. If we drop to a lower division we will fade into obscurity. Fade into obscurity = I'm laughing- just wait until the 12 team playoff Once you are no longer in the hunt, season over Bowl games outside of playoff - IRRELEVANT College football is over sir - I hate it The rich are going to get way richer I love the Sunbelt and I hope our conference continues to improve because I love to travel to Mobile- South Alabama Memphis- Arkansas State Atlanta - Georgia State Savannah - Georgia Souther Myrtle Beach - Coastal Carolina New Orleans - LA Lafayette San Antonio - Texas State Boone & Asheville - App State Williamsburg - Old Dominion Great conference, just irrelevant an I'm okay with it - just be the SBC and be content That would be fine if football were free. If we drop a division, I think ticket sales will go down. Enrollment will go down. There is no going back. It’s forward or bust. It was that way when we initially made the move. There were talks of closing the Troy campus and moving the school to Dothan and renaming it southeast Alabama or some other nightmare.

Buzz, You aint lying. I was in Tallahassee earlier this week and the air is filled with failure. Everywhere we went was just trashed. Starbucks was dirty and the socialists pretending to work there didn't work. Momo's pizza which was once a regionally famous pizza joint is terrible. Again, socialists making pizza makes bad pizza. I really despise going there. I was in Tallahassee yesterday and had the opposite experience. The young students working at Starbucks were working their asses off getting customers taken care of. The people working at the bookstore were very friendly and the young lady at the cafe made two awesome cups of evening coffee for our ride home. Also points for the whole place being queer friendly and full of geeks of all ages and stripes. It's always fun to go there. The 20 something at the restaurant we ate at was great and we commiserated over the game on the tv. Like everything else, Tallahassee is a mixed bag of a lot of different people with different ideas. *Starbucks in Thassee tends to be a reflection of the manager more than anything else. The one at Kerry Forest is typically really good. The one by Trader Joe's has always been awful. Haven't tried the new one by the mall, and the one by Home2 is hit or miss but generally ok. It's not "socialists." It's management. I'm curious, what indicates a place being "queer friendly"?

Bowl games have lost all meaning. FSU lost this game before kickoff. It’s a shame. Georgia and FSU should have been a good game. Yep. Will ESPN step in and change the transfer rules? I wish they would.

Screw our former coach. He can take a long walk off a short pier. And yes...Tulane can burn to the ground. If Tulane lined up to play ISIS, I'd be in the stands with a black flag and a white smudge. I get what you are saying, but I spent a good portion of my career on those ba$tards. They are evil scum and I could never support them.

When a new coach arrives, it is understood, by most, that a majority, if not all, of the coaching staff will turn over. We understood that, even discussed it. That said, for the ENTIRE staff to follow the previous HC is, as was posted on Twitter, gut punch after gut punch. The positive in this, I guess, is that those departing coaches are recognized as quality coaches and by all considerations, it appears those coming onboard are as well. Yeah, the way I feel about it now is: $umrall can eat a bag of

Rusty Director of Recruiting? It's most likely so they can pay him more. HR has all kinds of BS titles that they give to justify someone's pay. Director sounds important enough that someone doesn't mind paying him.

Any chance HCGP (and Troy Colective) can lure Steve Angeli away from ND to Troy with the high profile/high paid, Duke's Riley Leonard, coming to ND. Steve Angeli is having a real good bowl game today. I would say with our acquisition of HCGP, the chances are not zero.
