I could say good game Troy. But for some reason I do not feel that it would come out right. I hope that Troy is able to hire the right coach that can right the ship and return Troy football program around. Best of luck in the future and I look forward to being at next years game.

As far as I am concerned tht Dumpster fire program from Altanta can have the U. Not that they earned it but just for the fact that other may not get our two programs mixed up. Now it is just a case of rubbing ther noses in it.

What sign on the field? Almost went to Southern but Erk Russell scared me to desth. He actually wasn't like that but he was intimidating to meet From the link in the first comment in this thread. The banner in the first pic. I seem to recall a pic from Twitter post game with fans posing with it on the field (could be wrong there). Just a little much for my taste. The picture shows the cheerleaders and football players behind the sign "Paulson Stadium North" after the game had ended while they stood facing the GS Band to sing the Alma Mater.

I will be pulling for the Eagles.
Just a little back ground information. I grew up an Auburn fan attending games with my parents. Planned on attending Auburn but thing just did not work out, so I ended up at Troy's Phenix City campus where I graduated from in 1982. I became a fan of Georgia Southern when my nephew sign with GS in Hatchers last year as head coach. My nephew was a QB who ended up transfering to UNT after one year in JUCO due to not being a fit for the Eagles New offense. Due to him playing for the Eagles and my father's love of Erk Russell who my father(passed away spring of 1983) always pointed out to me when at Aub/GA games I just stayed with the Eagles.
I never really formed an attachement with Troys football program. The first time I ever set foot on the main campus was for a HS game in 2010. The second time was the UNT game in 2011.
I have a soft spot in my heart for the Men of Troy and hope that they do well but my allegence is with GS.

1-7 is pretty hard times... But we still have 15-16k in the stadium even at 1-7 (which is more than USA has and they are nearly bowl eligable) What I mean is even harder times and I do not believe they can get any worse than they already are at this time.

Being a grad of Troy but a fan of Georgia Southern football I will state that the Eagles fan base should not be in any position to turn a game between the Trojans and the Eagles in Troy into a Paulson West game. For this to happen Troy would have to fall on very hard times.
