Once a year, we should play with leather helmets to honor Busby. Then he can come around and tell us about that one time he did something that he always talks about.

Heard my name floating around at Trojan Zone for 6 hours Saturday. I hear they are introducing a Hemi Man Sauce to the collection of wing sauces. Can't wait to taste. Not sure it will top Bourbon Molasses or Sweet Teriyaki, but I hear it will come close. Ew.

The Dream gave up on trying to find logic by the majority of KE's play calling somewhere in the middle of the 2012 season. His play calling reminds me of a coloring book after my three-year-old niece gets done. However, I have the utmost confidence in Neal and his decision making. Edenfield's offense in 2012: 8th in the NCAA in passing offense, 11th in the NCAA in total offense. 124 teams in FBS football. It was probably a good thing you gave up trying to understand the logic of a man who's 8 of his last 11 seasons as offensive coordinator at Troy and UNA have ranked 29th or better in divisions with 120+ teams. It's not easy being a high achiever and even tougher trying to figure out how they do so well. You sure told me.

I live near FAU and provide coverage to FAU's top sports Web site, so I am familiar with the situation there. FAU is all-in with I-A and has just announced a $45-$50 million indoor practice facility, student academic center, sports operations building and more adjacent to the new stadium. The project is starting in months with a $16 million donation. www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/fau-owls/fl-fau-athletic-facility-1203-20141202-story.html>>The Schmidt Family Complex is expected to be an 185,000-square foot facility that will be located close to FAU Stadium. The state-of-the-art facility will feature a spacious football center, a large weight room, a wellness center, a sports medicine center and an academic center, which will be built first. The complex will also hold a full-length indoor football practice field, allowing FAU to join FSU and UCF as the only schools in the state that have indoor facilities.<< FAU attendance is still lacking, but it is increasing and new fans are being grown with each incoming freshman and graduating class. FIU has some real issues, some based on the culture there. I was at the FAU-FIU game in Miami Springs and FAU's 1,000 or so fans outnumbered FIU fans in the second half, despite FIU winning big! Hopefully, it will solve them. I would love to see Troy play in Florida at least once per year, for the sake of we fans down here and for recruiting. Troy has just ignored South Florida, and according to the latest from the new Trojan coach, does not plan to recruit below Central Florida in the near future. That is a shame. If there is so much talent down there, why do FAU and FIU still suck?

Renowned Alabama high school coach, with a knack for producing devastating defenses. Led Charles Henderson to the title game a couple of years ago, and was a G.A. at Auburn, studing under Wayne Hall and Brother Bill Oliver, alongside Jimbo Fisher. He is brash, the perfect amount of arrogant and carries a (The HC we don’t speak of) on his shoulder and would make a mighty fine DC. I've heard more than one person describe him as immature, fwiw. Probably a parent of some kid that didn't play.

I think 107 has some spare seats due to some succumbing to the late summer/early fall sun. Come on over to where the peasants roam.

He doesn't glad hand and play the politics that are associated with HS football. If came here, he wouldn't have to, because we have seen that CNB is very capable of doing that. Let Dean coach football and go home. Then he is happy, our defense is prepared and we get to consume copious amounts of sugar-infused alcoholic beverages on Rue Bourbon in late December. He is a jerk to the student athletes. It's a cancer. He is a jerk because he doesn't coddle and tell the kids how amazing and wonderful they are. Maybe the kids need a little dose of reality from time to time. For a guy that is a cancer, he sure has won everywhere he has been.

Mike Dean, burns bridges and causes trouble everywhere he goes. He is a defensive master but you get what comes with it also, and thats a lot of issues. Out at McGill Toolen, Out at Charles Henderson and now just got canned at Mary Montgomery High in Semmes.

For those wonderhow he would fit, I know some very successful WRs that went on to coach DBs and vice versa. Each knows the tricks of the trade of the other side of the ball.

I noticed a lot of folks posting various things about UAB ending its football program. I figured we should have one central locale for it.
Do you think we can pick up a couple of players/assistants? Who do we find as a replacement opponent this late in the game? Do you care?
Let the fun begin...

The tailgate plans are in effect. We will test them out during baseball season. Any of y'all amongst the crowd outside the outfield fence? The Dream is there. His Left Field Lounge will be open for business all season long.

A lot of programs (Auburn and South Carolina are the first that come to mind) are shifting more towards the play caller being on the field and the man in the box giving his analysis and opinion. But I feel the buck will stop with Neal.

Don't depend on hemi. He's too busy cleaning coaches turf shoes and telling them they are great. If Little Jimmy Hartwell turns, hemi will break his neck. Hmmm. Sounds like someone is begging for an invite to the tailgate. I mean it is "Hemi's Tailgate," right?
