Just saw the post titled "Business Trip" on the Troy Football Instagram account. Dressed like a bunch of bums as usual. No discipline or pride exhibited by this staff. Makes me sick. Dress like you mean business and maybe you will play like you mean business. You always find something to complain about - here are a few photos of the team traveling under CNB. It's funny... you didn't have anything to say then.

Just a quick note: I posted this image as active link to the NHC. Therefore, the image will continue to update (my original post showed the 8 AM advisory. As you can see, it has already changed). You will likely see updates here via this image before any reports from your local news.

Unfortunately, we are now in a situation where schedules don't allow flexibility for rescheduling. This may get pushed to an odd day of the week or it may not even happen.

Big Ten will not proceed to padded practices, instead remain w/helmets only.
Big Ten: "We understand there are many questions regarding how this impacts schedules, as well as the feasibility of proceeding forward with the season at all"

Troy fan should read this. I didn't see any exemptions for a UMASS football game. I have to a negative Covid 19 test or go into quarantine??? All visitors entering Massachusetts, including returning residents, who do not meet an exemption, are required to: Complete the Massachusetts Travel Form prior to arrival, unless you are visiting from a lower-risk state designated by the Department of Public Health. Quarantine for 14 days or produce a negative COVID-19 test result that has been administered up to 72-hours prior to your arrival in Massachusetts. If your COVID-19 test result has not been received prior to arrival, visitors, and residents must quarantine until they receive a negative test result. Failure to comply may result in a $500 fine per day. www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-travel-orderThanks for sharing, I didn't even consider this.

I haven't seen any announcements from players in the SBC, but several others are announcing on twitter that they will not play in 2020 amid COVID19.
Based on media reports, several other players have not reported to practice. Again, none of these are from the SBC (at least not yet).

NEW ORLEANS – After extensive discussions and careful deliberation among the Sun Belt Conference Presidents and Chancellors, Athletics Directors, SBC COVID-19 Advisory Panel, medical advisors, and other governance groups, the Sun Belt Conference announced today that its football season will begin over Labor Day weekend. Sun Belt member institutions have focused since June on a safe return to athletic activities. We believe this timetable will allow for the healthy integration of the entire campus community for each Sun Belt member. The 2020 Sun Belt Conference football season will be comprised of an 8-conference game schedule with an option for each member to add as many as four non-conference opponents, beginning with Week Zero. The Sun Belt will host a football championship game on December 5 between the East Division and West Division champions. If necessary, the date of the championship game may be adjusted. The Sun Belt Conference will continue to monitor health trends across our communities. Sun Belt Presidents and Chancellors, Athletics Directors, the COVID-19 Advisory Panel, and medical advisors will continue to review data to ensure a safe return to activities and competition. Our data review will cross seven states and 12 counties and include, among other things, infection rates, hospitalization rates, local health directives, advancements in COVID-19 testing and campus, department and team health trends. We will continue to provide updates on the league's activities as the impact of the pandemic continues to evolve. troytrojans.com/news/2020/8/4/sun-belt-conference-announces-plan-for-2020-football-season.aspx

Seems like the ACC decision is more about keeping Notre Dame happy. I get it, but it stinks. Expect SEC to follow suit, so we will loose the Tennessee game too. SBC schedule, here we come! The SEC is moving closer to an agreement on a conference-only schedule of 10 games, multiple sources told Sports Illustrated. During a virtual meeting on Wednesday, a majority of athletic directors approved the idea of an SEC-only, 10-game schedule. However, the schedule must be ratified by league presidents. SEC presidents are expected to meet virtually Thursday to seriously discuss the matter. It is unclear if they will vote then or delay a decision until next week. The NCAA Board of Governors is scheduled to meet Tuesday in what could be a momentous event for the 2020–21 college athletic season. Officials there could postpone or cancel fall championships, eliminating year-ending championships for sports such as FCS football, volleyball and soccer, or moving those to the spring.
