We only have 3 home games left. One is a Thursday night against south. My point is, if you are wanting to tailgate, you are running out of time.

Should open around 11 or 12 point favorite. They've improved since their opener, but don't be fooled by their win streak or their impressive offense. They've played a who's who of the worst teams in college football the last three weeks. Offense will need to click, though. We can grind it out, but I'd like to see more offensive explosion this week against what is by all respects a very bad defense.

We should have very few issues producing yards and a lot of points. This Arky team is just bad.

Line has opened at -16 in favor of Troy. Vegas knows their schedule has been soft is not buying the hype.

Not that we can not score but 16 is a pretty big margin and those guys do not like losing money or I should say making less than they are use to making.

We are 8-10 against them. I think we can take the lead while Sumrall is here.

Did I read it wrong, was UMASS favored to beat State? If so, Vegas blew that one really bad.
Trojans by 10 in front of a huge crowd.

Arky State changed quarterbacks for the last three games and he has made a difference. He's got a good completion 67% rate and he's also their 2nd leading rusher (almost tied with their leader). Very mobile and hard to contain. He'll be a challenge to deal with.

I expect some INTs if stAte's QB throws the ball. I think we could see some magic!

We better not sleep walk this game looking forward at other games coming up. I do believe we win comfortably on the field whether the score truly reflects that or not.

We have Army next and then a bye week. If we sleep walk it will be because we don't respect them. Sumrall won't let that happen. Not sure we cover the spread, but we will beat them comfortably.

Betting line is up to Troy -17. Looking good. If we play as well as we did last week, we will win 41-13.

Did I read it wrong, was UMASS favored to beat State? If so, Vegas blew that one really bad. Trojans by 10 in front of a huge crowd. Yes, we were 2 point underdogs vs UMass and depending on where you looked, 8-9 point dogs vs USM. So Vegas blew both games badly. The reality is, when you get outscored 110-3 over your first 2 games of the year, it takes significant wins to get the general opinion of you to change. Beating USM and UMass isn't going to fix that. I don't think many of our fans are expecting to win this weekend, I think the primary goal is to force a competitive game and give a 17 year old QB experience against his first truly hostile crowd. (UMass atmosphere was like attending a local golf tournament) The one thing I think we're interested to see is if we'll truly turn Jaylen Raynor loose with the run game. He's had just a few designed run plays. As a young player he's developed a habit of charging headlong into every play and never sliding. We're unsure if the coaches are trying to keep him inside the pocket until he learns to slide more, or recognizing that we have literally nothing behind him, and a single injury would derail our season. Either way, we're going to need to use the QB run more to beat you guys. I don't think we have a chance without making your defense respect the ground game.

There's a lot of teams in the Sun Belt that are getting a lot of media hype that we're just going to smack around to make people realize their early season schedules are garbage. These teams are playing UMASS, Stony Brook, Southern Miss, Ball State, UAB, Nevada, Buffalo, etc and getting pats on the back for lighting up the scoreboard. This TMTDM defense is for real, and will be a wake up call for these bright eyed and bushy tailed programs.
Three full games of tape on the 17 year old red wolf freshman quarterback. The TMTDM defense is ready.

While its no accomplishment to score 52 points on UMass, we haven't put 52 points on an FBS team in like a decade. Let us have this single moment in time.

He is obviously much better than the opponents he's played. Not sure he's ready for better defenses just yet, though. It will be a tough test for him. For what it's worth, I hope Butch Jones turns it around or you get to fire him and get someone better. Best of luck after next week.
