Good show, especially since you were solo. Got a link to the "letter to the editor" that you guys were discussing?

First time listening to y'all. Did a great job. The infamous Nick Duke article you refer to was when we were playing Georgia, not when we signed the contract. All it says was because he grew up a Georgia fan, he was going to pull for them and not Troy.
I don't believe the library has archives of those, but I will look and see if I can find it.

If that’s what he said, then I get it. I’m alumni from AU and Troy. It took me a long while to be all in for Troy. I still have an AU degree on my wall and some junk from my undergraduate days.

Yep, I get it. People cheer and follow schools for various reasons. The way I look at it it’s a free country, folks can cheer for who they want. Troy’s fan base is building. More and more undergraduates are becoming full Troy fans when they do leave campus after graduation. It will take time and we won’t be able to convert everyone.

I don’t think anyone cared who Nick Duke cheered for 10 years ago. However, when you write it in the paper of the school you’re attending, you can expect a backlash.
Back before safe spaces.
