I would contact the ticket office, let them know what you have planned and see if they have some seats rat holed away for situations like this. If not, the reserved seats in sections 207 and 209 (upper deck, visitor side, between the 30s) are great seats and given the 6:30 kick wouldn't be in the direct sun for very long at all. The other option is end zone GA seats, but I personally don't care much for end zone seats. As someone wrote in another thread dealing with seats, there isn't a BAD seat anywhere in The Vet.
In addition to getting a block of seats, if it's financially feasible for you and your crowd, talk to the ticket office about a Tailgate Terrace tent. The tens are huge, the athletic dept sets them up, provides tables and chairs, and, I THINK, can even provide catering options.
HAVOC!

I was hoping to maybe look into a north end zone tent Those are sold out, BUT that's the kind of thing that the athletic department might be able to help with. If they know of a tent that has been brought but that will not but used, maybe they can hook you up. The premium stuff got snatched up early this year, there's very little left.
