I love it, I love it, I love it! Here's three possibilities (there's a hundred different other ways too) to make it better based on the idea that these pressers are being done via zoom over a computer. One www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-USB-Powered-Computer-Speakers-Dynamic/dp/B07DDGBL5T/ref=sr_1_3?crid=XGYGTL4XK2AQ&keywords=computer+speakers&qid=1667261657&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI2LjQwIiwicXNhIjoiNS45OSIsInFzcCI6IjUuNjQifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=computer+speakers%2Caps%2C116&sr=8-3 Simply plug them into the audio out jack and get the level of the journalist's questions to a louder volume than just the on-board computer speakers. You can spend another nickel and get speakers that are even bigger to get them loud enough to get into that SM58 a little more...not as preferred but it would help some at no cost or effort at all. Cost = as little as $10 Two www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/C3m--behringer-c-3-dual-diaphragm-condenser-microphoneReplace the Shure 58 with this and set it to either omnidirection or a figure 8 pattern to pick up rather than reject the audio from the computer speakers. Cost = $79 Threewww.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ProAV1--radial-proav1-1-channel-passive-a-v-direct-box - $149 www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/CMS110--hosa-1-8-inch-trs-to-1-4-inch-trs-stereo-interconnect-cable-10-foot - $10 www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/B105D--behringer-b105d-50w-powered-monitor-speaker - $179 www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Q502USB--behringer-xenyx-q502usb-mixer-with-usb - $69 Computer audio out via 1/8" cable > multi-media DI > mixer > phones out to speakers for coach/main out back into camera, computer, or whatever is recording coach's mic audio. As I don't know what the setup is exactly, that might require an audio interface to get back into the computer and mix both coach and journalists together and can be had for as little as $50. Total of option 3 = $457. What's it worth to Troy University have serious, professional pressers? Honestly, the answer might be whatever they are investing now but with just a minimal commitment, it can actually improve. I have no doubt that someone who's involved here knows of these three solutions and all the other ways it could be done. I'm just not sure what's stopping them from doing it so that those who watch these pressers can actually hear the questions. My wife would appreciate it, as I have to turn the volume up so loud to understand what's going on and when coach starts to speak it rattles her brain, it's so loud.

Redneck option #4 - SM58 for coach, SM58 for computer speakers to pick up journalist's questions.
Total cost - $99 and an investment in the future, as 58's can also double as a hammer on Habitat for Humanity project sites...

We can hear the questions fine on our playback ... we'll add an external speaker next week.
