The guys on the interior lines don’t always get a lot of public mention, unless they miss an assignment. Congratulations to Austin for getting it done on AND off the field. 3.98 GPA in Biology is very impressive and to achieve that while playing DI football is outstanding. Here’s to you, Austin.

A fantastic young man. They interviewed him on the Frary and Smith Podcast and I was more than impressed with the caliber of person he is.

3.98 in Biology while being a FBS football player? Outstanding! If he has that much drive, he is on track to be alumni of the year someday.

In addition, I forgot to add, he’s carrying a 4.0 in grad school, education major grade 6-12. He GRADUATED with a 3.98 in biology. I didn’t mean to short change him🤷♂️

I work with many phd former teachers. They don’t make much money. My advice for Austin and his big brain is to take a shot at medical school. Unless he is going the education route to become a football coach. That can be lucrative, but I would think the stress would be less as a physician and the job doesn’t require as much moving.

He was on the Troy Boyz podcast a few weeks ago. He was on that track and decided he wanted to contribute to the lives of young people he is essentially willing to sacrifice a lucrative career to serve others as he’s been served. The story gets better with each new tidbit.

His parents should be very proud of THIS fact of playing D1 ball with that GPA.
