Do I recall that our center is still fresh at the position this year? There's one aspect that I haven't seen anyone mention at all on the board, in a presser, or anywhere else and that is the fundamental of the snap being a point that needs attention. It was overwhelming to me at the game that a high percentage, possibly 80%+ of the snaps the QB took he had to work to get off the jump from being snapped too low. I want to rewatch it but if I remember correctly, that is exactly why Doege had the fumble with the snap that he had to just fall on - a very low snap. It hasn't been noted by the staff as a point that needs work or talked about by anyone else and honestly that kinda surprises me. It puts a question mark on the very beginning of every play - not a great place to start out from as a QB that obviously already has so many things to focus on so just wondering what's up.

This is where I remind everyone that from my view IN the stadium, this was the BIGGEST (personally thought they probably averaged 315, but have not seen the need to verify that I could work at the fair guessing people’s weight 😂) and most disciplined D Line we have faced this year‼️ Sooo, MY opinion would be that Mr. Andrews had several things on his mind: check blocking assignments, snap the ball on the correct count while immediately engaging the large mass encroaching on his space, while having confidence that his QB would gather in the ball 👍🏼 I DON’T think either QB would question his snaps, but again that is my opinion (and we all have one).

There were numerous low snaps. More than usual. I am sure staff will note and perhaps less this week?

It’s his job.

I wondered about the snaps being low and mentioned it a couple times to someone I was with. One or two looked like they were almost skimming the ground. I haven't really noticed it before this game, though.
