Yes, that's right! TWO STORIES in one day. I updated my Homecoming History story from two years ago with missing games in our history, including what I believe is the 1st homecoming game AND a game that wasn't even in the record books. thetrojanwall.com/homecoming-history/

Great job as always. I'm glad the message board didn't exist in 1928. Marion dropped 97 on us!! Can we play them again?

Great job as always. I'm glad the message board didn't exist in 1928. Marion dropped 97 on us!! Can we play them again? Unfortunately not. They are basically a high school now. Probably were then too, to be fair. Let the Adopted Trojan (that had 1842 on his college ring) help with this question since it is part of his History, Marion would be Marion Military Institute: "Marion Military Institute (MMI) is the nation’s oldest military junior college tracing its origin back to 1842 with the founding of Howard College in Marion, Alabama. Howard College remained in Marion until it made the decision to move the college to Birmingham, Alabama in 1887. It later becoming Samford University. At the time of the move, Colonel James T. Murfee was the Howard College president, a position he had held since coming to Marion in 1871 from the University of Alabama. Murfee along with several of the faculty and trustees, chose to remain on the existing campus in Marion and formally establish MMI."
