I love the fact that coach wears a different first responders hat each week. Good luck charm or not I love the support he shows them.

Cornhole looks forward to these every postgame!
cornhole shared it before (to all involved) and cornhole sharing again (to all involved), ad naseum.
Until we can figure out how to capture media questions so that viewers can HEAR them...
these productions will never be top drawer.. as they should be.

Not sure why they won't put a second mic in the room and let the reporters use it, or at least capture it on the audio recording

I would also like to start a go fund me page to get Richard a shirt that fits. Ha ha da dude is a stud. I have a shirt that fits just like it from the first grade and even small but certainly seem to not fill It out as well. Must be the seams of it or something?

If I were built like RJ I'd wear 2X sizes too small as well.

Hey guys, just to jump in here. It's really not that simple with the setup for the postgame interviews to just put a microphone in the room. TV cameras are all the way in the back, print guys are in the front, so it requires multiple wireless microphones and a full audio setup to make it work.
We had it last year, ran into some technical issues because of crossed frequencies that forced us to abandon it at the end of the year. There are a lot of moving parts at the end of a football game where resources are required and while getting audio for questions is a priority for sure, it wasn't a top priority when compared to other items needed. We will continue to work on getting it in place, which includes hopefully this weekend.
My email is adamp@troy.edu, and I'm always available for a conversation that way.

Sounds like we just need the “a full audio setup” to make it work. Cost ? Maybe a fundraiser ?

Permanent ceiling mics above media line perhaps. Connecting port in a wall outlet almost like a stage box.

Away games obviously present a different challenge but a boom with a similar mic might work. But if the same room is used for home post game and weekly press conferences that could easily be done and w the mic choices today could be done with little aesthetic changes. Of course that depends on the money willing to be spent

Of course that depends on the money willing to be spent Road games it's pulled straight from the radio interview postgame since media don't travel (rare occasion they do). Home Monday press conferences are strictly via Zoom ... I've got something that should work this weekend.

We use catchbox at Eglin at The Doolittle Institute. You literally throw this cube around the room. It works great. catchbox.com
