I've been out for 2 seasons with a FESTERING wound. Unfortunately, part of my crew (mother in law) may need a new knee. On gameday, do the golf carts still offer tailgate to ticket gate service? Meme wants to come and the little Trojan Warriors love having her there. She may need some help this season.

This question was brought up at the Leadership Conference yesterday. Golf carts can be parked at Eldridge. Also handicap parking is available ona first come basis. It’s limited this year due to construction.

Thanks BulldogTrojan. I’m not thinking about a personal golf cart. I’m more hoping I can wave one down like a cab or text to order one. The walk from Hawkins Hall to LBF@VMS can be rough for someone with a cane/walker.
PS if it helps, Meme always stands and cheers and I’m convinced she helped us down the field in the last moments for a win against App back in ‘16.

Still see those golf carts around, but I don’t know who is in charge. Maybe contact athletic dept or alumni affairs…?

As of last season the golf carts were still moving around BUT due to lack of workers it appeared that fewer were available. I do not even remember IF we had a lot attendant last season due to the shortage of workers.
ALL of that to say, contact Athletics and ask what the plan is for Game Day THIS season. Originally it was like you mentioned, upon arrival tell the student attendant working your lot you needed a ride and they used the two way radio to call a driver with a golf cart. It seems there was an informal pick up location at each lot.
Since you have been gone, in 2020 we got a ride once, in 2021 never given the opportunity.

I'll ask about this and post the response here. My dad actually wants to attend some games this year and he's almost crippled at this point (COVID after effects), so I'll be sure to get an answer.

This is what I was told today.
"There is a shuttle from the Handicap lot, which has moved to the Rec Center. The workers at the lots should have radios that can help locate a shuttle."
