Probably want to send this type of feedback to Athletic Department. Certainly not message board material but that's just my opinion.
Can anybody here help these kids or parent? I know I can't.
Sorry they had a bad time and Troy left a bad impression.

I wasn't there, but the general consensus among us old folks is today's generation is weak and easily offended.

I do not all the specifics to nohuddle’s post. So, perhaps I am reading the example of the young man who is attending a football camp in an effort to promote himself as a player that Troy may be interested in as a player? That is a question that would have to be answered for me to have an ABSOLUTE answer. If the afore mentioned is accurate then it was highly inappropriate for him to wear another schools camp shirt. No coach would have tolerated that at their camp.
Now if this is just a 10 year or something like that at a camp for kids he would have been the first one to get his camp shirt.
There are NO as in NONE as in nada coach who would have tolerated someone to attend their camp with another LIKE FOOTBALL camps shirt. “Son you can leave or get rid of that shirt now.”
I am not sure about cussing. I don’t use that language and I have had coaches who cussed a lot and little. Coaches are not always known for pristine talk. However IF THAT KID WAS A HIGH SCHOOLER I MYSELF MIGHT HAVE LEANED OVER AND WHISPERED IN HIS EAR “Get the hot fudge sundae out of here”

One more thing... It is known that HCJS walks campus with Troy shirts and gives them to people wearing other than Troy shirts. So, I'm going to guess (because there is precedent) that the camper wearing an other than Troy shirt was offered a Troy shirt.

I agree with the follow up post that this “concern” should have been shared with the Athletic Department AND HCJS since he is the face of the program. Posting on this site (social media) seems to be counter productive (enough said). 2) Buzz was very correct in us NOT knowing “the details”, but a little searching would reveal, “ Jon Sumrall Football Camp | July 29th (All High School Prospects & College Transfers)”. So that leads us to believe we are discussing “older campers”. THEREFORE, it appears these individuals went on a job interview and failed miserably based on what they chose to wear and the body language and attitude they evidently exhibited. As far as coaching or instruction, I did not know that was part of an individual showing/presenting what they bring to the organization. 3) Sounds like these individuals learned the lesson today that so many of us (at least myself) learned in our late teen years, you are no longer a big fish in a small pond!!!
Probably the biggest takeaway from this is that while some individuals are disappointed with today’s events, it appears that at least THREE people are excited/pleased with THEIR day’s outcome! Troy Football Recruiting has posted three BOOMs today ⚔️👍🏼⚔️

I think you all make good points and I’m super glad Troy scored some good commits today.
While it is a job interview in a sense, the attendees are paying for instruction/coaching and deserve to be treated with respect.
I think we’d agree that when you’ve sold someone on how great Troy is and then Troy becomes their worst experience out of a summer full of camps, it’s disappointing. It doesn’t necessarily mean anyone was at fault though, I suppose.
I deleted the original post and apologize for posting it here. I’ll contact the athletic department directly, or, more likely, I probably won’t care by tomorrow.

What can you do in these drills and tests

These camps function as instruction... and similar to Frat/Sorority rush, folks sort out which is right for me, which is right for thee? I think we got this one sorted OUT.
