NET ranking of 106. Not good. Guaranteed a Women’s NIT spot, I believe, though.

Getting run out of the gym this afternoon on ESPNU. Painful to watch. Yep. Got our butts handed to us in the first half, could not overcome the deficit in the 3rd & 4th. Great season none the less.

Just wasn't our day. Regular Season champs though so no reason to hang our heads. Great season!

Troy is good enough to win the WNIT.
There has never been a Troy team that's won a postseason tourney game since joining D1. I hope they break that streak in the WNIT.

Quotable – Head Coach Chanda Rigby
"I am heartbroken for this team. We wanted to represent Troy with another championship. UT Arlington did an exceptional job, and they outplayed us in the first half. We wish them a lot of luck in the NCAA Tournament. Our players fought back. We turned a lot of things around in the second half, and we did not give up."
Notable
Tina Stephens finished the contest with 10 points and 14 rebounds, good for her fifth double-double of the season.
Felmas Koranga and Stephens were named to the All-Tournament team.
The Trojans were outrebounded, 51-46.
Tiyah Johnson closed out the contest tallying 11 points, marking her 15th double-digit scoring game of the season.
NOT Noted anywhere: #1. Amber Leggett played a tenacious physical game, fouled out in the last minute or so. This season she has proven to be one of the most competitive athletes of this program and plays with a lot of heart!
UTA TROY
FG% .403 .292
3FG% .353 .188
FT% .696 .727
RB 51 46
TO 23 19
STL 12 14
