I too wish him well. Do I think perhaps just having one thing to do may be good for him? That is actually possible. So here is to not talking about him again.

Yes, I am extremely happy he is no longer at Troy but he got kids to support. And part of me says if he is successful as OC at FAU it will shine Troy in a positive (or non-negative) light. Some people just weren’t meant to be the head man. And that’s ok.

Does this reduce any financial obligation Troy has to XHCCL?

Does this reduce any financial obligation Troy has to XHCCL? I say no but not 100%. From what is understood, Troy wrote a check to be free and clear and move on.

Listen, I know itâs popular to crap on âtkgâ and things that (The HC we don’t speak of) did, but at the end of the day he came to Troy to be successful. That means he wanted OUR program to be successful. At the end of the day I saw where he was still liking tweets about our guys accomplishments well after he had been let go. Some doubted his character and I canât blame them in all regards but I know he genuinely cared about those guys.
I wish him well where I think heâs probably best, which is at OC. Kudos to him for finding a job in less than a month and I hope he succeeds.

Does that make him a FAUKG or just a FAKG?

Does that make him a FAUKG or just a FAKG? FAUKGOOSOB FAU kinda guy on offensive side of ball Have to give the guy credit. He took the driving record of a guy with 6 DUI’s and lands a Airline Pilots job. Thinking being “well he seemed to really drink a lot when driving but it’s harder to get to the bar when you are in the air”

Hoot Hoot! (The HC we don’t speak of) is now an Owl! Mixed feelings. I will never wish Iâll on him and I hope he can learn from his failure at Troy! I think he got a job so quickly because he is friends with a lot of coaches and he is personable, but it will take me a long time to forgive him for his ineptitude! My understanding is that when he left Auburn he owed them over a million unless he got a head coaching job and although he got the OC job at Kansas he bolted for the Troy job to get out of paying Auburn! Now he gets a $700,000 check to leave and gets another job in less than a month! Even if Iâm wrong about the Auburn deal he still got $700,000 now heâs with Willie, 2 peas in a pod! Iâm just glad the saga is over and we can move forward!

If it is true that he owed them money because he left for another OC job then he would still owe them money if he then left that other job for a head coaching job. Where did you here that he owed Auburn money when he left?

That means he wanted OUR program to be successful. At the end of the day I saw where he was still liking tweets about our guys accomplishments well after he had been let go. Well... he stole that phrase from basketball coach Scott Cross, which was always weird. And yeah... I'm sure (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of) wanted Troy to be successful... but he sure didn't put his best foot forward, nor did he go to greater lengths like Neal Brown did.

I have one more thing to say: This may not go over well so shoot away. Jokingly we refer to someone as (The one who shall not be named). I know he was let go, dismissed, fired or whatever you want to call it. . I don't know if anyone would do this but a mia culpa would have been nice. A statement saying "that given the opportunity was an honor and while things did not go as I wished I am the boss and Troy University does deserve better than that which was achieved under my leadership. With that I apologize for the personal distractions that effected my focus during part of my time here. I also wish to apologize to the fans, players, and administration for not producing a product more representative of the University that I had the privilege of serving for the past three years. I know many of you were disappointed by the product that was produced and that solely rested upon my shoulders. Again, thank you for this opportunity. though it does not end as I had hoped I believe that I have learned from my mistakes. I wish nothing but the best for all of you. However, the bottom line is I have failed to meet not only your expectations but mine as well.

I wouldn't care. Don't wish him ill and even success somewhere else as much as it matters to me. Mostly ready to drop this again like it never happened. Anyone else game? Move on. Nothing to see here.

you are right nothing to see. Just wish that as in politics or business or even football when you are in charge and you are responsible for making matters worse taking responsibility would really be refreshing to see.
