The year was 2018. The Trojans took a late November trip to the mountain with a spot in the inaugural Sun Belt championship game on the line. Troy was without a couple of top receivers, and the ones that played were maybe 60% healthy. A few running backs were rally banged up, too. Some folk here questioned whether Neal Brown was the right coach because the offense struggled that day in a 21-10 loss.
Yeah, if those who said that only knew how good we had it...

Not to mention Sun Belt refs had chubbies for App the entire game. I hate Sun Belt refs so much it gives me headaches sometimes.

Yep (The HC we don’t speak of) is like a big good feeling eraser. No level of success is beyond his capabilities to squash it. .

Yep (The HC we don’t speak of) is like a big good feeling eraser. No level of success is beyond his capabilities to squash it. . I remember when the Refs were so bad they were escorted to vehicles and escorted away from the stadium by security. We had a whitewhater that was a real RickyP. Awful doesn't describe that guy. Some just figured he was auditioning for a bigger job or he was subsidizing his summer job as a lifeguard. Post was in ref to 1andAlls post.
