20+ tackles 1 interception
Dude is a beast plain and simple!
Just wondering what would be the outcome without this performance yesterday.

I will post here too. For those who are Trojan warriors know that we got a little lost where this original post was posted.
What I admire most about him is that his individual accolades mean very little to him if his team does not win. This is the epitome of a team player, period.

We disagree a lot but you are spot on. He plays with a (The HC we don’t speak of) on his shoulder that he was over looked coming out of HS. Similar to Tom Brady. He has heart and you can't coach that. He reminds me so much of two other defensive walk ons I had the honor of playing with, Freddie Thomas and Garrick Pimienta. Both played with heart, humble and were leaders. Both in the HOF and so will Carlton one day. He is something special for sure. Enjoy our time watching him. Players like him don't come around very often.

LOL From what I heard was Troy coaches really loved Carlton coming out of HS, but as a journalist friend told me, “You don’t give scholarships to 5-9 linebackers on the FBS level.” I think it was planned that he would get one eventually if he played as well as they thought he would.

LOL Coaches recruit prefered walk ons. Listen to Garrick Pimienta's HOF video in which he tells how Troy coaches convinced him to turn down a NAIA scholarship to walk on at Troy. Another one recently that they were reluctant to offer and got to walk on and turn down a D2 offer was a 6"1 OL who ended up playing in 51 straight games from true freshman on and started 44 straight and earned 1st team All Sunbelt at LG and then Center. His name was Tyler Clark
