With Pitt, LSU, and BC (am I missing anyone) opting out of bowl consideration, does that make it more likely we go to a bowl?

Here's a question, why are we seeking further humiliation on a national scale?

One of the games I was watching last night made an interesting point. A lot of what a bowl game is is a reward for the players with going out and seeing a new town and doing fun stuff. That obviously won’t happen this year. It will likely be like any other road game. Two days at best. Outside of the practice, there isn’t much in it.

App St vs 4-5 North Texas in Myrtle Beach Georgia State vs 5-6 Western Kentucky in Mobile FAU vs Memphis in MontgomerySaw the announcement that the NEW Montgomery Bowl (NOT Camellia Bowl) had announced their teams, Memphis and Florida Atlantic. I had personally nicknamed this bowl the Pity Bowl because I expected it to be our ace in the hole, that they would love to get Troy during a DOWN year. I WAS wrong

However this year is not about tickets for the most part
