It’s a different story this week! Watson is ALOT more accurate and poised under pressure! Where is all the Nay sayers this week?

Maybe the coaches should reconsider the QB’s on the sidelines.

It appears that what happens in practice will come out in the game!

Jacob also has trouble with the wheel route pass I commented on that one to my wife during the game. Makes no sense.

Jacob also has trouble with the wheel route pass Free looked so, so bad today. Even Georgia Southern fans feel bad for us. Free had terrible form all day. Throwing off back foot, not planting feet, not stepping into throw, eyeing down his receivers, overthrowing, underthrowing, throwing behind.... Just bad. Please don't let him be the starter against Coastal Carolina.

Please don't let him be the starter against Coastal Carolina. Let's put today's performance aside for a bit. QB1 Jacob Free obviously has/had what it takes to earn QB1 at Troy University. When you add back in today's performance, you either get a QB that is not ready to start, or a QB that is not qualified to be QB1. Based on our play calling (specifically not running the ball), I lean toward not ready to start. I don't think it is good at all to ask a QB to make a mid season start in a pass based offense. Have success with the running backs and it will take the pressure off of QB1 Free. If we could do that, I think he improves.

Two plays stand out to me. One was the QB sneak on the goal line. Free ran up Dylan Bradshaw’s rear end 2 yards deep in the backfield. The O line was pushed around all day long, the ruining game had no chance. Two was the final offensive play for TROY. As I was watching that play, I wasn’t concentrating on Free, I was looking at receivers. When he threw that pass, I initially yelled with joy because there was a receiver in the middle of the field, camped inside the 5. That would have given us a first down. You can imagine my dismay when I realized Free had instead thrown into double coverage on the edge. These two plays illustrate everything that wrong with The offense vs GA Southern.

Either that or he has spent all his time developing Watson and weâre seeing the results of starting someone at QB with the development time equal to 10 days of spring practice.

After Liberty Neal and company adjusted the offense to Sawyerâs strengths. There is absolutely no excuse for the running game to be as bad as itâs been recently

Jacob has an arm. However, in the BYU game incredibly heavy pressure with 3 or 4 rushing and Gunnar took that experience and with some pressure (not a great amount of times but when it came) he learned from it. As stated before IMHO that was or is not the experience that Jacob has had. Maybe with more time but development does take time. Now is that time short or long depends on the QB. The one thing about touch passes be it sideline deep or wheel routes or flair routes. In this area Gunnar is better and was learning to elevate ball more on them. Now with all of that said. Three weeks to recover from broken ribs is not long and one good hit could really hurt. Costal is a good team but not unbeatable. Our D is playing better almost every game. We just have to give them a little rest. I hope Gunnar is back but if not the learning curve will just have to be endured because the other guys over there are not Uneglioulieaia (the kid from Clemson. Our running backs are really good but our running game depends on establishing it and that we have some youth on our Right side of the offense line does not always help. They will get better (Graham) is going to awesome. Just not quite yet and Betts too Norm says Troy by 13. Despite rolling in his own poop. I am going with that. Cause you have to have hope and as much criticism as Hall took last year the D has played pretty well as of late

You have to coach toughness but this guy coaches like that horses rear he played for in HS. Schlarman and Moore were great teachers and those guys really responded to that. This guy is to much yelling at practice. I think BYU was glad to get rid of him

The D played outstanding but I heard somewhere that Ga Southern was missing some key players on offense. Is that true?

The MORE poop we dish out to (The HC we don’t speak of) this season, the better we'll be next year. Got it. You obviously have not run out of Kool-Ade yet, it's still early. Please advise that creature of yours that Kool-Ade may be harmful to critters.

However Hall got reamed by us and the guys on D are at least competing this year. Besides I do like kool-Aide

What was Free saying to the coach? I think he was saying: I wish I was in Brantley, I wish I was in Brantley, I wish I was in Brantley.
